These terms govern your use of Farolete and the Lamp platform. Please read them carefully — by using Farolete you agree to be bound by them.
By creating an account or using Farolete, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Farolete. By creating an account you confirm this.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
You may not create accounts for the purpose of abuse, impersonation, or circumventing bans.
A Lamp is an interactive micro-app posted as social content on Farolete. You retain full ownership of the Lamps you create.
By publishing a Lamp, you grant Farolete a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and render your Lamp on the platform and in embeds.
You are solely responsible for the content and behaviour of your Lamps. Lamps that execute malicious code, scrape data, or violate any law are strictly prohibited.
Farolete runs Lamp previews in sandboxed iframes. Attempting to break out of the sandbox or access parent-page data is a violation of these terms.
Farolete supports forking — creating a derivative Lamp based on another creator's work. When you fork a Lamp, the original creator is attributed automatically.
You may only fork Lamps that are publicly published. Forking does not transfer ownership of the original.
The Studio uses an AI agent (Lamper) to help you generate Lamp code. You are responsible for reviewing and publishing any AI-generated content.
Do not use the Studio to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates these terms.
AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, safe, or fit for any particular purpose.
You may not use Farolete to: harass, threaten, or harm others; post illegal content; attempt unauthorised access to our systems; distribute malware; or engage in spam.
Lamps that consume excessive server resources, mine cryptocurrency, or perform network attacks will be removed and may result in account termination.
The Farolete name, logo, and platform design are the property of Farolete. You may not use them without permission.
User-created Lamps remain the property of their creators. Farolete does not claim ownership of your work.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
Farolete is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Farolete is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Farolete operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted by law.
